15 Notable Instances Of WWE Crowds Reacting Poorly To Roman Reigns
14. Monday Night Raw, 10/6/14 (Brooklyn)
Reigns, who by this time was penciled in as the man to defeat Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, was sidelined two weeks earlier with an incarcerated hernia. So soon after the injury, in order to ensure that the audience wouldn't forget about him, WWE decided to have Reigns take part in a 'via satellite' interview to discuss his prognosis. Poor Reigns may as well have done the interview while in a medically-induced coma for as 'lively' as he was reading WWE's script. By the time the brief chat with Michael Cole had ended, Brooklyn was pretty catatonic themselves, not reacting to much of anything except for Reigns' mention of the city for a cheap pop. Once he'd dropped his, "Believe that," all you could hear were murmurs.
