5. Jerry Lawler Basic Series 46
This one is so sad. We love Jerry the King, but its no disrespect to the legendary figure to say that his form has been neutered considerably over the past few years. And it appears WWE wanted to capture this change and immortalise it in three dimensions of plastic so that we could remember it forever. Whereas once Jerry Lawler action figures were based around building a cocky and arrogant King dressed to the hilt in his royal gear, here we simply have a meek and feeble looking Lawler, wearing a ridiculously too young for him MMA style T-Shirt. King doesnt need merchandise really. And he particularly doesnt need merchandise that makes him look like a completely out of touch old has-been desperately clinging on to his youth that faded quite a few decades ago. The idea that on top of making this man look like a fool, we would then need to create a permanent sculpture of the broken King and his awful merchandise, is really just a sad sight for all wrestling fans.
