9. Triple H Vs. Shawn Michaels - Hell In A Cell, Bad Blood 2004
Triple H and Shawn Michaels are capable of having great matches together, no doubt about it. Their SummerSlam 2002 offering was a revelation. As was their lost classic from the last Raw of 2003. They've had some genuine classics together. But they've also had some absolute duds, too. One such dud was their interminable Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood in 2004. They seemed like they had been feuding forever at that point and their match felt like it lasted forever, too. They were out there for forty eight minutes. Forty eight. That's at least a good twenty five minutes too long. The match wasn't even that good, lacking the requisite drama of previous Cell clashes. Was it a disaster? No, it wasn't. The two men could hardly have a 'bad' match against each other and the big table spot was a highlight. It was just long, plodding and totally self-indulgent. Boring as Hell in a Cell would be a more accurate title.
