Jericho talks about what an awesome moment it was when he won the title and was met with the "you deserve it" chants, but says that there's always naysayers no matter who wins the championship, with a segment of fans labeling that person "the wrong guy". He asks Kevin if he experienced any of that as well, and he replies that he has.

He says that immediately people went after Jim Cornette, finding enjoyment in rubbing it in that he was wrong in his claims that Owens would "never wrestle in front of more than two hundred people." As far as he's aware, Cornette never explicitly stated anything negative about Kevin winning the title other than saying that he doesn't care and won't be watching, but again reiterating that Owens obviously took his advice and changed his attitude, which Kevin again refutes.

The main person who he kept hearing about was Vince Russo who has been very vocal in his opinion that he doesn't see anything in KO and that he isn't a star. Jericho asks him what Russo's reasons are and he responds that he doesn't really know, but adds that the former WWE and WCW writer has made similar statements about Finn Balor and Sami Zayn as well.

Fans always want Kevin to respond to him but he won't because he realizes that Russo doesn't believe the nonsense he says; he just makes comments such as those to p*ss people off and get attention, which obviously works because whenever he says it KO's Twitter starts blowing up with people talking about it.

Owens also says Vince may be harboring a grudge against him because he blocked him on Twitter a few years ago after some comments Russo made about The Young Bucks.
