15 Things We Learned From WWE Unreal

4. The Heel Turn's Live Production Is Gripping

Triple H barely even clued up WWE's top notch production team before they were tasked with live editing Cena's turn at Chamber. No, really. Hunter told Marty Miller and other members of the production staff that they only had to follow his instructions closely and everything would be fine. It's astonishing to think that they didn't know the ins and outs of John hoofing Cody Rhodes in the balls or The Rock encouraging him to turn going into the PLE.

Trips just told them that everything would flow logically, so if they listened to his guidance then things would click into place.

One segment right at the end of episode 4 showing this all play out during Cena’s heel turn is a chef’s kiss moment for Unreal. Honestly, we badly need more in-depth ‘how was it made?’ footage such as this for memorable WWE moments. It's just a shame the heel turn wasn’t properly explained with any Rock involvement afterwards, but it is what it is there. The company can't exactly fix that now JC has gone babyface again - it's too late.

Seeing Triple H guide Miller and his team through live camera cuts, zooms, pans and other such editing tricks whilst Elimination Chamber was happening live is dreamy stuff for any wrestling nerd. This process must be fairly common whenever WWE fancies keeping banner moments close to the vest without anything leaking out.

The less people know, the less chance there is of spoilers crawling onto social media. Even so, going into such a make or break moment blind and still pulling it off without a hitch just goes to show how high quality WWE's production team is.
