15 Things WWE Wants You To Forget About Vince McMahon
5. The Kiss My Ass Club
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=14yno-uPXaE So Vince McMahon, what was up with the Kiss My Ass Club? That's a question most wrestling fans would love to ask the WWE Chairman. It was basically McMahon's way of humiliating his employees by dropping his pants, then having them pucker up and kiss him right on the backside. It was a really good move for a heel to do, but also difficult to watch a lot of the time, too. The first person to join was William Regal after he had joined The Alliance and decided he wanted his job back when the Alliance lost at the 2001 Survivor Series. Next to join was Jim Ross, who was at the mercy of Vince, Kurt Angle and a returning heel Undertaker. JR's induction was done solely to humiliate the the Oklahoman (one of Vince's favourite pastimes). A few years later in 2006, the Kiss My Ass Club was back. Others joined, like Shawn Michaels (in the build up to their WrestleMania 22 match), Shane McMahon (Michaels forcefully shoved his face in his own father's butt), Mick Foley (he did to save Melina, who ended up turning on poor Mick) and Hornswoggle (his own 'son'). Although he was happy to humiliate his own employees, Vince also wasn't afraid to take one from the team, as he demonstrated when he allowed his face to be shoved into Rikishi's posterior in late 2001. Vince and WWE's obsession with ass kissing was really, really weird.
