9. Rarely Losing Clean
It wasn't just Gunn, Jarrett and Triple H who Stone Cold was against doing jobs for. His entire attitude was resistant to ever losing and if he did job it was nearly always unclean. He was like the second coming of Hulk Hogan, losing clean just wasn't an option. He probably saw it as his main event franchise privilege. Shawn Michaels had the same attitude, he outright refused to do jobs. Maybe Austin just thought that was the way it was for the franchise player. Nowadays, it is very different, and John Cena has been known to do clean jobs for opponents. It doesn't damage him in the slightest. But Austin's ego just wasn't going to allow for even the slightest weakness. He had to go over, or it had to be unclean.
