15 Ups & 3 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (July 29)

11. Becky Cruises Through Alexa & Nikki

Becky Lynch battled Alexa Bliss not long after their sparring session earlier in the night. Lasting a shade under seven minutes, it was a perfectly solid, functional TV bout that didn't call for the performers to ever break out of third gear, with both mounting enough offence to ensure that neither came off looking bad. The finishes favoured Alexa, in fact: she landed awkwardly off the Bexploder, hurting her ankle, with Becky picking up the victory via referee's stoppage.

Nikki Cross was understandably aggrieved by this and challenged 'The Man' to a second clash. With Bliss and her gammy ankle propped up at ringside, a shorter, more concise bout followed, with the former Sanity woman enjoying early offense and cutting off several fight-backs throughout. She was there to fall, though, and did so in three minutes, with a sloppy Pumphandle Slam putting her away.

Afterwards? A miracle cure for Alexa, who beat Becky down to allow Natalya's post-match Sharpshooter. Effective stuff all-round.
