9. Vs. Yokozuna - Casket Match, Royal Rumble & Survivor Series 1994
The Undertaker has had the dubious honour of wrestling nearly every super heavyweight that has walked through WWE's doors since he debuted in 1991. A company man through and through, 'Taker has never complained about this and has always done his damnedest to make the best of a bad situation. Sometimes his best isn't good enough and he can only do so much. Such was the case during his awful programme with Yokozuna in 1994. They had two casket matches on major PPVs that year, neither one of which was any good. The first, at the Royal Rumble, had one of the most insulting WWE match finishes ever. After five minutes of a one-on-one match, a grand total of TEN heels came out to try and take Undertaker out. It took them another ten minutes to finally get him in the casket. Once inside, 'Taker cut a gibberish promo and then 'levitated' (actually Marty Jannetty attached to some clearly visible wires) to heaven. Seriously. Vince sold the whole thing like it was one of the deepest, most spiritual experiences he has ever had on commentary while the crowd looked on, completely dumbfounded. When 'Taker returned from the afterlife, he had to settle the score and beat Yoko in another casket match at Survivor Series, thanks to a little help from Chuck Norris. Seriously. WWE in 1994, everyone.
