This was really, really odd.

It was to have been another memorable weekend for Elias. Earlier this week, the gimmick took pride, place and stage amongst some of music's elite with a set in the Gramercy Theatre. This didn't end with a run-in by Bobby Lashley because he simply wasn't needed.

It wasn't another broken segment with broken fragments of a broken story splintering out to prick anybody who came near it - this was even less so. That nonsense happens on Raw, and looks likely to happen to him in the near future. But the livin' was easy for Elias this summer time, as was his demeanour of his current nearest and dearest rivalry Lashley.

Elias' segment may have been a bust, but Bobby's was cause for some pause. He re-signed at WrestleMania...and hasn't made it on to the SummerSlam card. There are testing times still ahead for the Banker push Vince McMahon has routinely failed to make money on, especially if Bobby can't rapidly reverse the trend.
