15 WWE Wrestlers You're Most Likely To Find In A Royal Rumble

11. Edge - 2:09:02

With a nickname like The Ultimate Opportunist, you might expect Edge to have a relatively low time spent in the Rumble, only sneaking in at the end to claim the spoils. This happened once (in 2010, where he was victorious after spending only 7:19 in the match), but in his other five appearances, Edge notched up over two hours of action, making 17 eliminations in the process. One particular match that was instrumental in the development of The Rated R Superstar was the 2005 Royal Rumble match. After pinning Shawn Michaels in the night€™s opening bout, Edge lasted over 40 minutes in the Rumble and finished in third place, eliminated by both John Cena and Batista. It was a sign of WWE management€™s faith that they gave him over one hour of airtime that night. A surprise return at the 2010 Royal Rumble set up an exciting feud with Chris Jericho, whom Edge eliminated en route to his first Rumble victory. Jericho won the title inside the Elimination Chamber and the two squared off in a solid (if unspectacular) match at WrestleMania XXVI, which Jericho won.
