15 WWE Wrestlers You're Most Likely To Find In A Royal Rumble

9. Chris Benoit - 2:37:19

Although it has now been erased from WWE€™s history books (or at least ignored), Chris Benoit€™s performance in the 2004 Royal Rumble will go down as one of the best of all time. Ordered to be the first entrant by then-SmackDown GM Paul Heyman, the Rabid Wolverine was viewed by most as an outside shot who would likely not survive to the end. Instead, Benoit lasted an incredible 61 minutes and 30 seconds, last eliminating The Big Show in front of a raucous Philadelphia crowd. His road to championship glory was completed at WrestleMania XX when he defeated both Triple H and Shawn Michaels in arguably the greatest three-way dance ever to win the World Heavyweight Championship. The following year, he entered the Rumble at number two but could not replicate the previous year€™s performance, lasting a hugely impressive 47 minutes before being eliminated by Ric Flair. He competed in two further Rumbles and fared reasonably, before his death in 2007.
