Jericho asks if they quit before they had actually talked to WWE, and Dean replies that they did, saying it was about a week or so after they'd given their notice before the contacted WWE. He was the one who made the call to Jim Ross to gauge his interest. Dean tells a story about an incident that took place almost a year to the day of their WWE debut in the same town of Pittsburgh. The WCW and WWE crews were staying in the same hotel and they ran into each other. Vince responded that they shouldn't be having that conversation and gave Dean a business card and told him to head to the bar.
