16 Most Illustrious Fake Families In Wrestling History

15. The Bashams

Brothers Of Destruction Undertaker Kane

Doug and Danny Basham were another pair of supposed brothers who toiled in the relative obscurity of WWE's tag team dark age. Like the Dicks, they didn't exactly set the main roster afire, but they had been successful as partners and rivals in developmental. Doug Basham and -- swear to God -- The Damaja formed a championship team, capturing the OVW Southern tag titles from Nick Dinsmore and Rob Conway.

Promoted to the SmackDown roster, the two were repackaged not just as brothers, but as kinky weirdo brothers. They were managed by their domme, Shaniqua, who would frequently berate and abuse them to the delight of... someone, surely.

Despite winning the WWE Tag Team Championships from Los Guerreros, the Bashams fell victim to a truly depressing career slide. They became lackeys in JBL's Cabinet, and were made into Paul Heyman's anonymous enforcers, and, humiliation of humiliations, ultimately went to TNA as part of a Christy Hemme angle.
