16 Revelations From The FalconArrow's WWE Reddit AMA
12. The Plans For The New Women’s Division
One of the key refrains in questions asked on the AMA was concerning WWE’s new women’s division, and a few of the key players. Asked whether the radical branding overhaul was a cheap gimmick or a genuine transformation the company were standing behind, she was unequivocal:
“Standing behind and thank god. The Charlotte / Sasha / Becky being there all at once isnt a joke. They are setting up for some quality stuff in the coming months. I am very very excited.”
It’s long been rumoured that an attitude problem was part of the reason that Paige and Emma - the inspirations for the Divas Revolution - have been conspicuous by their absence. falconarrow had this to say about Emma...
“Who is the most miserable wrestler that you have met? - Which my answer would be Emma. She is mean.”
...but was far more forthcoming about Paige:
"She is an interesting one - mainly because everything keeps wavering it seems. Theres been talk of everything from making her the champion to putting her with the Wyatts. Problem is nothing ever sticks as the attention is focused (and should be focused) on Charlotte / Becky / Sasha as the Women's title comes more into focus. I think in 6/7 months you're gonna start seeing her spots frequent more but dont quote me."
Too late, you’re quoted. Reddit users were far more concerned with everyone’s favourite Irish ‘lasskicker’ Becky Lynch, however. When asked how the office saw her, falconarrow offered the following:
“Valuable. Hard worker, maybe not the frontrunner but if someone goes down a great substitution. Complete asset… People really like her and she is a very hard worker. I think she sticks around for a while.”
That sounds suspiciously like the traditional Bret Hart position on the card: the hardest worker, there to shore up the handpicked talent. Meanwhile, Lana made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 32. When asked about her future as a wrestler, falconarrow was cautious but positive:
“Still rocky. Alot of the womens roster still do not feel super comfortable in ring with her which is very understandable. It will take time, she is a super hard worker. She'll get there.”
