That's the last time Edge had wrestled inside MSG before Friday's edition of SmackDown. The veteran lost to Randy Orton on a house show card back then (one headlined by John Cena defending the WWE Title against Sheamus) - it was 4,101 days before "Super" Smackers.

Michael Cole said it had been "over 4,000 days" since Edge last appeared in The Garden. True, but WWE's lead announcer stopped short of tacking on that extra 101 to make it seem even more special. Friday night had to feel good for the 'Rated-R Superstar'.
