16 Worst-To-Best Matches Of WWE's Summerslam Weekend

15. Sheamus Defeated Randy Orton

Sheamus is really great at wrestling, yet somehow terrible at generating his own organic heat. It's gotten to the point where he sounds like some sort of corporate yes-man create-a-wrestler instead of like, a fresh and exciting heel. Randy Orton is really great at wrestling too, but you get a sense that he might be really ready to just retire tomorrow and call it a day. That's what plagued this match. From an in-ring standpoint, it was an excellent and swift-paced opener. The finishing sequence was fantastic, as was Orton teasing his punt. However, Sheamus holding that briefcase is a poisonous vision for WWE fans because we all think that at some point, this boring man being forced down our throats could be World Champion. That's the not-so-good heat.
