16 WWE Attitude Era Tag Teams You Totally Don't Remember

14. Droz & Prince Albert

Albert's WWF debut carried similarities to Batista's initial run. While 'The Animal' played the part of Reverend Devon's silent, menacing deacon, Albert burst onto the scene as the hulking tattoo artist of punky upstart Droz. Unfortunately for the latter, his intimidating appearance was undercut by the comical 'Prince Albert' gimmick - a rather unsavoury reference to the slang term for male genitalia. The pair got off to a good start, defeating Too Much (and early incarnation of Too Cool) in a dark match at Backlash: In Your House. They stayed together for most of the 1999, sometimes incorporating Key (ECW's Vic Grimes) into their fold, and participated in a tag team turmoil match at SummerSlam alongside more established tag teams such as The Acolytes and Edge & Christian. Their alliance ended with the tragically serious injury of Droz, and Albert went on to find more substantial success alongside Test and Trish Stratus.
