JBD has all your typical handsome trappings of a Hollywood star, piercing blue eyes, striking cheekbones ... but there's also something gaunt about him, a difficult-to-place hunger behind the eyes. Orton has that same quality, his good looks over time becoming thinner and more twisted, revealing a man hellbent on hurting people. Dale's very good at playing characters with something terrible hidden within, whether that be cancer undermining his invincible charm in Flight, or the fact they he's a deadly exploding robot guy in Iron Man 3. He would be a great fit for depicting the lean, despicable Orton of 2009, the man who heard voices in his head, whose ruthless ambition ate way at his sanity from within.
