17 Early 90s WCW Stars You Totally Don't Remember

9. 2 Cold Scorpio

Older WWE fans will remember the Flash Funk character, which came just a few years too early to really catch on. Had the gimmick been launched during the 'Attitude Era', it would have been a smash hit. Sadly for Funk, The Godfather stole that particular thunder. Before he was a family-friendly pimp (now there's a job title), the man underneath the white hat was 2 Cold Scorpio, renowned for his high-flying and exciting ring style. In all seriousness, Scorpio lit up WCW cards upon his debut in 1992, and would become a Tag-Team Champion with Marcus Bagwell the following year, but was hampered badly by Bill Watts insistence that wrestlers didn't use top rope moves. Due to his run as Flash Funk, as well as using the Scorpio name towards the end of his time in WWE, many fans have forgotten that the man spent two years in WCW.
