King Corbin has evolved a lot since he made his main roster debut. 'The Lone Wolf' has worked on his mic skills, and now, he is one of the best heels on SmackDown. Back in 2017, he had captured the Money in the Bank briefcase. Unfortunately, courtesy of his unprofessional behavior off the TV, the writers booked him to lose the contract and soon buried him. After punishing him for a while, they tried to rebuild his character by giving him the United States Championship.

He defeated AJ Styles and Tye Dillinger in a triple threat match at the Hell in a Cell event of 2017 to win his first title on the main roster. The former Golden Gloves champion's reign came to a surprising end at the hands of Dolph Ziggler two months later.

Corbin has featured in the upper mid-card since losing his title as he has starred in multiple Universal title bouts besides retiring Kurt Angle at WrestleMania. However, the former Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner is yet to win a world championship.
