17 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (April 9)
2. That Strange Samoan Drop Spot
Earlier in the show, The Usos were hit with a nasty case of Botch-itis as well.
When Jey Uso tagged in, everyone waited with baited breath to see him double-team Matt Hardy with his brother Jimmy. Instead, Jey took a big run up then circled around the pair to watch Jimmy hit a Samoan Drop on Matt. It looked...off somehow, almost like there'd been a breakdown in communication between the telepathic twins.
Corey Graves did mention it on commentary, but he didn't labour the point. It's not really in a WWE announcer's best interests to highlight errors.
