Nominees: Stephen Amell dives onto Stardust at SummerSlam. The cast of Entourage introduces Zack Ryder on Raw. (May 25th) Machine Gun Kelly (rapper) gets powerbombed off the stage by Kevin Owens on Raw. (June 15th) Jon Stewart gets involved in John Cena's match at SummerSlam. Wayne Rooney slaps King Barrett on Raw. (November 9th)
It was a good year for WWE on the celebrity front, with several high profile names taking part in angles. Brit fans will gravitate towards Wayne Rooney slapping King Barrett, given that Rooney is a huge name in the UK. But when it comes down to it, Jon Stewart should be winning this one. It was a huge coup for WWE to utilise Stewart, and it earned them a ton of publicity around SummerSlam. His involvment was also key to a really good match between Seth Rollins and John Cena, it was pivotal to the finish. Stephen Amell was also a big deal, but his story sucked. As for Machine Gun Kelly, that was an awesome moment when Owens powerbombed him, but it didn't really count for anything.
