The build to Ronda Rousey's WWE debut (and Kurt Angle's WrestleMania return) hasn't been perfect, but that in itself has shone a spotlight on the life-changing decision the former UFC icon has made switching the Octagon for the Squared Circle.

Ronda's ranged from passable to p*ss-your-pants terrifying on screen thus far, showing at least a spectrum of emotions if not range. But Triple H's comments on the Monday Night Raw go-home show were pertinent - this is a learning curve, even for somebody of her physical stature and status. She'll perhaps not be equipped to do too much physically, but a throw/submission combo on the 'Billion Dollar Princess' is in reality all the audience really wants.

Like a Shane McMahon match or a Triple H entrance, Stephanie has in recent years made getting her one annual bout of comeuppance a 'WrestleMania moment'. Rousey's trajectory as WWE Superstar doesn't really begin here at all - serving up the Chief Brand Officer at the 'Show Of Shows' is merely an aperitif for the exciting feast her tenure threatens to be. Kurt Angle and Triple H tussling alongside the warring women only add to the bruising banquet.
