After a quick recap of The Montreal Screwjob which has been covered ad nauseam, we turn the discussion toward the end of the Monday Night War and the night Shane appeared on Nitro. Mick recalls seeing Stephanie backstage in tears because of how momentous the occasion was, and asks about the day.

McMahon says he was told by his dad that he was going down to Panama City to be on the show, and he said there was trepidation on his behalf because he didn't know what kind of reaction he was going to get.

His father was sending him there to deliver the statement that anyone in the WCW locker room who wanted a job would have a shot to do so. He relayed the message to the locker room, and just looking around he could see a mix of reactions and talks about what an awkward and tough setting it was.
