18 Things You Probably Missed From WWE SmackDown (July 2)

12. Repeat: Who Cares About Titles?

Take two.

Big E's graphics didn't detail his countless reigns as a WWE Tag Champ, NXT Title run or dual Intercontinental reigns. The promotion wanted to focus on his personal weightlifting records and collegiate football career instead of that.

Somewhere, Jim Ross shed a single tear of happiness.

11. Pat McAfee Sitting On Michael Cole

During Shinsuke Nakamura's entrance, Pat McAfee took it upon himself to climb on top of Michael Cole and start waving his arms around like he was at a Limp Bizkit concert. At one point, Cole even shouted, "Get off me".

That's when the camera switched away from Shin and Rick Boogs to McAfee erm...riding MC. OK, that didn't sound right, but you get the gist. It must be great to be Pat; he can seemingly get away with whatever he likes every week and WWE are cool with it.

10. “Kingsuke” Isn’t Official

Cole, McAfee and literally everybody else on TV has started calling Shinsuke Nakamura "Kingsuke". That'd lead one to believe that WWE had changed the new royal's name officially. A quick look at the match graphic that flashed up for the tag reveals that they haven't.

He's actually called 'King' Nakamura.

"Kingsuke" isn't official, which is perhaps a relief to the Twitter hordes who can't stand that moniker. So, Shinsuke has been binned and 'King' is very much in. Until the next King Of The Ring tournament happens, that is.
