15. Shane McMahon & Elias Broke The 'Wildcard Rule'

Later, WWE broke their own rule by having SmackDown's Shane McMahon and Elias attack Roman Reigns.

Granted, this was a run-in and so it wasn't planned, but then neither was Roman Reigns' invasion, Daniel Bryan's surprise showing or Kofi Kingston's arrival on the show. All five of those guys are SmackDown talents, and five (ahem) is more than the three wrestlers from a rival brand who were included in Vince's new 'Wildcard Rule'.
