2 Ups & 1 Down From This Week's Impact Wrestling (Nov 22)

1. A Fan Favourite Returns

With Brian Cage utilising Option C, the main question was what was going to be happening with the X Division Championship. That query has now been answered, as Ultimate X is coming back.

A staple of the company since 2003, the Ultimate X is one of the most innovative and jaw-dropping matches in Impact history, perhaps even wrestling history as a whole. Unlike some of their other creations (hello Reverse Battle Royal), it's a match both easy to understand and enjoyable to watch. They're not busted out that often these days - the most recent one was in 2017 - but it's always a spectacle when they do appear on the card. That's no surprise, given how well they've been put together over the years.

Although no competitors for the match have been unveiled thus far, you're guaranteed a show-stealing match. Not only because it's an Ultimate X Match, but also due to the stacked lineup currently part of the Impact roster. Who knows what the likes of Dezmond Xavier or Fenix could do within that sort of environment?

Homecoming really is shaping up to be quite the event.
