2 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Deadly Draw: Women's Tag Team Tournament (Aug 17)

Downs...

3. Short But Not-So-Snappy

Diamante Ivelisse
AEW

This has been true of the Deadly Draw throughout, though last night's post-main event interviews were particularly pointless.

Alex Marvez caught up with the winning teams. The Nightmare Sisters' promo taught us nothing we didn't already know, with Brandi Rhodes playing up her recent heel turn in the face of Allie's protestations. We then heard from Diamante and Ivelisse, who put over their combined 26 years of experience, then said winning the tournament was bigger than both of them, promising to do so for their people.

The interviews were too short to offer anything meaningful. Why not give them more time to talk, here? It's YouTube, there's no time limit, so what would be the harm in giving them 2-3 minutes each, allowing the performers to say something that lands?
