2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Feb 16 - Results & Review)

1. We’re Just Getting Started!

Anna Jay Queen Aminata
AEW

Queen Aminata shouted the subheading there following her win over Anna Jay. That, for the record, was Aminata's first victory on mainline AEW TV, and it was a solid match from both women. They've shown vast improvements individually since debuting, and they ended up meshing well on Rampage.

The Queen is right: AEW fans are about to see a lot more from this pair.

Aminata always deserved to do more than lose then smile and mouth, 'Oh well, maybe next time'. She'll also have to move away from respectful handshakes and a Finn Bálor-esque grin (circa 2018) if she hopes to become a regular on the bigger shows. Toni Storm has shown what creativity and a proper fleshed-out character can do for somebody who's treading water on this roster.

Hopefully this isn't the beginning of a slide for Anna either. Surely not, 'cause she has bags of potential and so much to offer AEW in coming years. In fact, one gets the sense she's only now finding her feet as a worker. Keep giving her longer matches, Tony! Pretty please?
