2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (March 8 - Results & Review)

1. The Complete Lack Of Atmosphere

This will be a familiar moan to anyone on social media, but Tony Khan really has to have a right good think about running some smaller buildings here or there. Dynamite: Big Business will play before a lively crowd in Boston, which is awesome, but there was zero atmosphere here for this week's Rampage.

Last Wednesday's Dynamite suffered some similar problems too.

This isn't said with any glee, because it sucks, but Friday's show sounded like it was taking place in a local indoor swimming pool on a weekday. In other words, it was painfully quiet. AEW's darkened lighting, which hides empty upper decks, seemed lower on the stands than normal as well.

Boo to that. It was visible throughout the episode that the live gate was sparse and those in attendance weren't too excited about what they were seeing anyway. That "women's wrestling" chant during Julia Hart vs. Robyn Renegade came from around four people.

Ouch.
