2 Ups & 4 Downs From AEW Rampage (Nov 10 - Results & Review)

1. That Sloppy Finish

Ruby Soho Angelo Parker Flowers
AEW

There's an upside to this match that'll be explored soon. For now, join this journey to understand why Ruby Soho's brain appeared to melt as soon as Angelo Parker's flowers arrived on the scene. Ruby became an android from Detroit: Become Human that had malfunctioned, and it wasn't clear why.

AEW wants to sell the prospect of romance between Soho and Parker, and that's cool, but Ruby didn't fall apart in terms of storyline of character. No, her actual ring work got worryingly slopping during the final two minutes of the match vs. Red Velvet, and the bout suffered as a result of that.

Ruby was possessed by the spirit of Jenna Morasca temporarily.

Even the ref was looking at her wondering what was going on. Velvet, who could've been forgiven for getting sloppy herself considering it takes two to tango, did a marvellous job keeping things together and blasting through the final few spots as best she could.
