That's the best way to sum up what's coming on Wednesday too. There, The Hardys and Brother Zay will challenge The Young Bucks and Hangman Page for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Titles. Where's the buzz? It's just another open challenge match for the sake of it. Filler, if you like.

No, not every single match on every single wrestling card can get an equal share of creative attention, but...why bother booking half-arsed stuff like AEW did on Rampage? The Elite cut a promo challenging anybody to step up, then Excalibur dropped in that the match was happening during his weekly graphic sprint in the next segment.

Christ, why does everything need to move at breakneck speed? There was no point in that Bucks/Hangman promo in the end. Fans weren't given time to imagine any of the possibilities before the bout was revealed. This is partly why so many matches in AEW mean absolutely nothing.
