2 Ups & 6 Downs From WWE SmackDown (Nov 13)

3. “Long-Term”

Generally, yours truly has enjoyed the Mysterio family vs. Seth Rollins and Murphy feud. It has had wobbly moments, but has also led to some good matches. Plus, it got Dominik and Aalyah involved, allowed Murph to show off some personality and freshened up SmackDown by switching over to Friday nights.

Then they had to go and bloody ruin it.

Murphy told a concerned Aalyah last week that he was thinking "long-term" last week by linking back up with Seth. Exactly one week on, Murphy has turned on Rollins again and received Rey's blessing to continue seeing his daughter. That's not "long-term" storytelling, is it?

Also, Rey seemed to forget Murphy's part in that whole 'Eye For An Eye' business earlier this year. Murph was directly involved in what was supposedly a harrowing personal episode for Mysterio literally four months ago, and yet Rey welcomed him into the family.

Hmm.
