2 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE Raw (May 23)

Downs…

7. The Feud… Must Continue!

MVP Bobby Lashley

We are officially careening toward the fourth televised match in two months between Omos and Bobby Lashley, as this feud veers from a vehicle to establish Omos as a killer to a lesson in treading water for both superstars.

Omos lost the initial match at WrestleMania 38, but he defeated Lashley at WrestleMania Backlash… with a little help from new manager MVP. Then on Raw last week, Lashley survived when Omos tossed him through the steel cage wall, which gave way and send Bobby crashing to the floor, giving him the win.

Now, the two are set to collide again at Hell in a Cell, but with an added stipulation: MVP defeated Lashley via count-out Monday night, allowing him to choose the conditions, and he decided on a 2-on-1 handicap match.

This means we get another round of Lashley/Omos, but with an aged MVP thrown into the mix. This could be decent, but we’ve also seen just about every possible iteration of this match. Hopefully, this will represent the end of the feud and WWE will move on afterwards.
