2 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE SmackDown (6 March)

1. Sami's Escape & Braun's nWo Rub

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode weren't up for cheating in the gauntlet main event, but Sami Zayn was willing to fly the flag for proper heels everywhere with his antics earlier. When he grabbed Alexa Bliss and used her as a human shield, this guy punched the air and shouted, "Yes!".

There's a pro wrestling villain.

Zayn took the cheap way out so he didn't take a beating from Braun Strowman or the nWo, and it was excellent to witness. That cleared the way for Braun to rub shoulders with Nash, Hall and Waltman, and it hints that Strowman will finally get his paws on Sami at Elimination Chamber.

Score one for the bad guys (not the former Razor Ramon). Zayn couldn't have fulfilled his role any better this week. He was brazen when he needed to be, cowardly in the end and sowed some seeds for pay-per-view comeuppance.
