2 Ups & 7 Downs From WWE SmackDown (6 March)

2. Heavy-Hearted Buffalo

To their credit, Buffalo stayed with the action until the bitter end.

The more and more Otis and Tucker racked up victories over New Day, Lucha House Party, New Day and reigning champs The Miz and John Morrison, the more and more New York got on board. By the end, they were craving that big pop for an Otis pin on Dolph Ziggler that didn't come.

Confusingly, Dolph and Robert Roode picked up a clean win over Heavy Machinery to win the gauntlet and secure that sought-after rest in the Elimination Chamber. They didn't cheat at all, in fact. Instead of being sh*tbag heels, Ziggler simply tagged in when Otis wasn't paying attention and superkicked his Mandy Rose-loving enemy for the one, two, three.

All that energy flowing through the Keybank Center was suddenly sucked away by yet more poor booking. If Dolph was going to pull a fast one on Otis, then he should've used every dirty trick in the book to do it. The babyface doesn't have one complaint about how things went down here - he just wasn't on the ball.
