Finally, some good, and it's from a place nobody could've expected.

MFTs vs. The Wyatt Sicks in an 8-man ‘Street Fight’ was nice enough plunder. The rivalry has been horrible and almost killed off the tag division on SmackDown, but at least WWE put some spin off story into this one by booking tension between Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga near the end. There’s something to work with there, which is why this gets an ‘Up’.

Most watching SmackDown surely think the Sicks are washed though. They’re arguably the most boring act in the company right now, and it’s time to move on from what was a very lovely Bray Wyatt tribute initially. Back on the plus side, going tornado style with the match was smart, because it would’ve been a slog otherwise. It did dip around 3/4s of the way through, but not enough to drag things into ‘Downs’ territory.

Anyone who reads these write-ups regularly will know how brutal this writer has been on the storyline, but it’s important to be fair. Everybody brought plenty of energy with them for this 'Street Fight', and the likes of Talla Tonga, Tama Tonga and even Erick Rowan looked good bell to bell. Now, WWE must draw a line under the issue rather than coming back to it because they're lazy and can't think of something else.

At least there was no humdrum lantern chatter to make everyone snore. Nope, this was rock solid brawling from all 8, and even Nikki Cross got a well-worked dive spot into the bargain. Thumbs up all round.
