It took WWE a while to figure out how to harness Keith Lee's talents.

While his first developmental year wasn't a bust, big beefy Keith wasn't being utilised particularly well. It was only 14 months ago that 'The Limitless One' was being used to put Lars Sullivan over. From there, he returned to a familiar loop of occasionally squashing jobbers with no real creative direction, before getting hurt, returning, and rekindling his old indie rivalry with Dominik Dijakovic.

This provided a springboard for both to leap up the card, leading, ultimately, to Lee emerging as one of Survivor Series weekend's MVPs. A winning performance saw his babyface side fell The Undisputed Era inside WarGames. The following night saw Lee star in an electric closing sequence in the men's elimination match, pinning Seth Rollins before facing off with Roman Reigns. Lee lost, but earned boatloads of respect in doing so.

A video-game character come to life, the impossibly athletic Lee is the most visually impressive big man in the business. Being crowned NXT's Breakout Star of 2019 should guarantee a big year. An NXT Championship reign isn't out of the question at all.
