20 Absolute Best Wrestlers In The World Right Now

15. MJF

MJF AEW
AEW

If anything, MJF might be under-ranked here. He is demonstrably fantastic at everything asked of him on a weekly basis and a gift of a television wrestler with a mastery of what it takes to play a great character on cable. Beyond that, he has grown to become a world-class big-match wrestler in his own right, proving so in detail-rich, heated bouts with the likes of CM Punk and Darby Allin.

It is had to find a flaw in MJF in 2022. Where once it could be said that he was a fantastic character and talker but merely a "good" wrestler, this is no longer the case. A classicist with an incredible grasp of timeless techniques and tricks that have always worked, who simultaneously looks to the future and fits the modern style seamlessly, he has grown as much as anybody in AEW.

This shouldn't be a surprise, given the depth of his influences and his youth, but that MJF is now an able headliner who can hang with a Punk at just 25 years old is to his credit. The gap between MJF, fire-spitter, and MJF, in-ring mechanic, has disappeared, and while a different type of wrestler to AEW's other top guys, his brand of showmanship never goes out of style.

Get ready for another 20 years of MJF on top.
