20 Absolute Worst Wrestlers EVER (... According To YOU!)

1. Bubba The Love Sponge (0.11/10)

Eva Marie worst ever
Impact Wrestling

Bubba The Love Sponge's brief involvement in pro wrestling was nothing short of disastrous, both for his own legacy and for those unfortunate enough to be associated with him.

A radio shock jock with zero wrestling ability or charisma, Bubba somehow found himself inserted into TNA during Hulk Hogan's ill-fated regime, long before their relationship went hideously sour. His presence was baffling and damaging; a reminder of the worst excesses of celebrity involvement in wrestling, not least when it came at the expense of others who deserved television time.

Bubba's on-screen segments were insufferable, but it was behind the scenes where his toxic influence truly shone. Most infamously, his offensive comments toward Awesome Kong led to real-life tension and physical altercations, driving one of TNA’s most beloved talents away. His behaviour represented everything wrong with wrestling’s dated obsession with shock value over substance, and he left TNA worse than he found it. Bubba was a complete failure in wrestling, a blight on a product already struggling with credibility, with a career only survived by this magic shot of Mick Foley shoot chinning him on yet another rotten 2010 edition of Impact.
