20 Best Matches Of Brock Lesnar's Career
12. Vs. Undertaker - Hell In A Cell 2015
With a rivalry as long as that between The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar, it was only fitting that their final battle take place inside Hell in a Cell. Fans were looking to this match to finally settle a rivalry that dated back to The Next Big Thing's first months in WWE back in 2002, and these two legends more than delivered.
The Undertaker and his Conqueror looked to change up the formula from their previous match at SummerSlam, and the Hell in a Cell structure allowed them to do just that. The Beast and The Deadman both began to bleed profusely shortly into the match as a result of being thrown into the ring post and some vicious chair shots respectively. In the end, Brock's attempts at pummeling Undertaker into submission did not work, so he resorted to ripping off the ring canvas and exposing the hard surface underneath. This would backfire as The Phenom would hit a chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver on the exposed ring, nearly winning him the match.
In a bit of payback, Brock returned the favor from SummerSlam by nailing a low blow and F-5 on The Undertaker to win the match. While some fans may not like the sometimes forced nature of Hell in a Cell matches, this war was a perfect example of how it can be used effectively to end a rivalry.
