20 Best TNA Wrestlers Ever

14. Lashley

Had Lashley not returned to TNA in 2014, he would not have even made a top 100 best TNA wrestler’s list. But his work since coming back has been so damn good, he's jumped into the top 20. After all these years, he has finally lived up to the promise of that massive push in WWE. Too bad for Vince McMahon that it happened in another company.

As part of the Beat Down Clan, Lashley began finding himself as a character. He came across as the star of the stable (more so than Samoa Joe even), and was booked incredibly effectively. He wasn’t a cowardly heel, but one who backed up his words in the ring and ran though everyone in convincing fashion. It was surprisingly refreshing, and quite believable.

From drastically improving his in-ring work, to becoming pretty entertaining on the mic, perhaps no one in all of wrestling has improved as much as Lashley has over these past couple years.

At Bound for Glory 2016, he was slotted into the main event of the show. And at this point in his career, it feels justified. If he continues to do great work (and if TNA’s existence continues) he should find himself higher on this list in no time.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
