20 Best TNA Wrestlers Ever

13. Bully Ray

Without Brother Ray’s run as Bully Ray, he’d still be a strong candidate to make this list, but his run as the Bully character easily earns him entry.

From 2005 to 2010, The Dudley Boyz as Team 3D continued to tag in TNA. While the act largely didn't feel all that fresh, they still delivered great bouts with the best the company had to offer, and had no problem putting younger talent over when the occasion called for it.

When Team 3D decided it was time to go their separate ways, that’s when Bully Ray was born and quickly became a breakout character. Where had he been hiding all that talent? He was given a big push as the leader of Aces and Eights, and was cutting the best heel promos in the business for some time. There was just nothing likable about the guy, and you wanted to see someone shut him up. He was the perfect heel.

Bully Ray also got himself into the best in ring shape of his career in his 40s, and was holding up his end of the deal in main event programs. It’s unfortunate that he left the company to once again reform The Dudleyz in WWE, as he was far more valuable, and far better as an act in TNA.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
