There are 3 Hell in a Cell matches people immediately think of when the match is brought up: the original, the King of the Ring, and this one between Triple H and Cactus Jack.

After losing to Hunter a month earlier, it was announced that Mick Foley would get another chance at the WWF Championship at No Way Out. This time though, the match would be Triple H's title vs Foley's career in the match that made him a legend. Their previous hardcore match was a bloody affair but this was something else.

Less of a technical bout and more of a bloodbath. The two men wanted to destroy each other and would use everything they could get their hands on as a weapon, and the crowd lapped up everything the two men did inside that cage. Obviously the match was building up to a big stunt as Cell matches are most known for, and this one arguably topped Mankind's flight to the announce table 3 years prior. Cactus Jack managed to escape the cage and climb to the top with Triple H hot on his heels. A piledriver was attempted but the Game countered, lifting Foley over his head and crashing through the cage ceiling and down to the mat below.

This was the final nail in the coffin for Foley as one final pedigree later, Triple H had won and Mick was retired... for all of 35 days.
