8. Vs. The Undertaker - WrestleMania XXVII
Triple H has fought the Undertaker at 3 different WrestleManias and all have been excellent. X-Seven's is the lesser since it's absurdly long ref bump took away from the match. Then there was this match which was the sole redeeming quality of a terrible WrestleMania.
The Undertaker returned after several months on the shelf and Triple H immediately made his intentions clear: break the Streak where Shawn Michaels couldn't. The build was great as Michaels himself believed Hunter couldn't do it. Ignoring the warnings, the Game and the Phenom put on a match that couldn't be topped by anything else following it.
The two men threw everything they could at each other including the last time you'll see the Deadman fly over the top rope and the now banned chair-shot to the head. The majority of the match took place outside the ring, with both men destroying everything in their path. Triple H in particular delivered a wince-inducing spinebuster to the announce table.
There was such desperation in Triple H 's actions that the drama of the match was palpable, culminating in the moment that shows the Game as one of the best in-ring storytellers where the Undertaker caught him in the Hell's Gate submission and desperately reached for his sledgehammer to break the hold. In the end he was too weak to do so and tapped to become Undertaker's 19th victory, but unlike Triple H, Undertaker couldn't leave the arena by his own strength, collapsing at ringside...
