20 Best Women's Wrestlers In The World Today

9. Mia Yim

If it weren’t for her time in TNA, there’s a strong chance WWE would’ve signed Mia Yim to a full-time contract a good while ago and installed her as an immediate major player in the NXT women’s division. Now free of that affiliation, there should be nothing stopping Vince McMahon’s company from snapping her up, and at this stage, it’d be extremely surprising if they didn’t send an offer her way.

Yim is the total package. She’s just as comfortable drifting between submission holds as she is throwing nasty strikes, and she’s a strong seller who knows how to get a crowd on her side. Her Mae Young Classic run was as solid as expected, and though Yim fell at the quarter-finals stage, she left as one of the competition’s standout performers.

Yim’s greatest asset is her TNA experience. She was with the company for well over three years, meaning she extremely comfortable not only at working the sports entertainment style of wrestling, but also playing to TV cameras - a common issue among WWE newcomers. Expect her to appear in the company sooner rather than later.
