Two more different professional wrestlers you could not find, and these differences were frequently focused on in the build up to Daniel Bryan and John Cena's battle at SummerSlam 2013.

Everything came to a head on an episode of Miz TV, as the two stood opposite each other in the ring and exchanged thoughts.

Bryan came out in a t-shirt similar to the one Cena was peddling at the time, the famous white shirt with 'The Champ Is Here' emblazoned on the front. Bryan went on to explain the thought process behind the shirt, telling Cena what many had believed true for years;

'This shirt is a parody of you, because I think you are a parody of wrestling'.

Biting, for sure. Bryan spoke the words that many fans felt, and his journey to the hearts of professional wrestling fans worldwide continued unabated.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
