For a while, it was unfortunate to think that Chris Benoit vs. Chris Jericho from the 2001 Royal Rumble was almost erased from memory by WWE higher-ups, who were eager to distance themselves from Benoit as much as humanly possible. The man was even removed from several DVD releases, and footage of him was generally banned from television. Obviously, the circumstances surrounding his demise in 2007 remain mysterious, but WWE seem to have relaxed those rules a little, meaning more fans than ever before are able to see matches like Benoit vs. Jericho in a Ladder Match at the Rumble on the WWE Network.
