1. Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon (WrestleMania X)
Choosing the absolute best Ladder Match in pro wrestling history is a tough ask. There will even be those matches missing from this list which cause outcry amongst fans, disbelieving that their favourite isn't included, but there really have been so many to choose from. In terms of historical significance however, Shawn Michaels vs. Razor Ramon from WrestleMania X has to be the best. One of the most important and ground-breaking bouts in WWF/WWE folklore, Michaels vs. Razor has went down in history for what it offered. Even though both guys would reunite for another tangle with ladders at Summerslam 1995 - and as mentioned, that match felt a little different - there can be no denying that 'Mania X was a huge moment for the pairing as performers. It was the original, after all. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x2gqwbz_wwf-wrestlemania-x-razor-ramon-vs-shawn-michaels_sport The fact the match was held in the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden only makes it seen grander. On an evening where Vince McMahon was trying to shift perceptions in the WWF in 1994 (having kissed goodbye to Hulk Hogan finally), this fit nicely. Bret Hart would end the night as WWF Champion, but a lot of people were also pointing to the likes of Shawn Michaels as future titleholders. What other Ladder Matches are your favourites?
